More and more, we view web sites belonging to Pastors, Churches, Evangelists and Ministries that don't find it important to show a complete statement of faith. It's either that, or the fact that they are being less than honest with you regarding their beliefs as they know that they do not conform to a biblical belief system. Oddly and sadly enough, not all Christians share the same belief system. 'Christian' is supposed to mean Christ like, right? Absolutely. Keep in mind that this is the day and age of the free thinker. The independent mind. People are out smarting themselves and over thinking things that simply don't need to be over thought. Unfortunately this includes people who claim to be of the Christian faith. There are many ecumenical statements of faith in general, to which man glorifies man, focusing less on glorifying God. If it doesn't glorify Him, then it just isn't true. People believe and follow the doctrines of men who disagree with a sovereign God. These men make a god to fit their own image and create a corrupt doctrine of that god, all the while, twisting scripture to fit. Mormons, Russellits (Jehovah's Witnesses), Emergent Churches, etc. None of these have a solid confession of faith that is the essential of every Christian.

The definition for Essential is:
1. absolutely necessary; indispensable: eg. "Discipline is essential in an army."
2. pertaining to or constituting the essence of a thing.

Now knowing this, having a complete biblical understanding and doctrinally sound statement of faith must be essential to every Christian. One Over 99 Ministries proudly adopts the London Baptist Confession of Faith 1677/89 as our essential statement of faith. This is what we believe.
